🌸 Petal to Pot 🌸
A Floral Imprint Pottery Workshop
Get ready to roll in the mud—in the most elegant way possible. Petal to Pot is a hand-building pottery workshop that celebrates clay, creativity, and the quiet beauty of nature. Hosted on a lush farm at House of Iki, this workshop is an immersive, feel-good introduction to making pottery using real leaves, flowers, and wild twigs gathered fresh from the land. No experience? No problem. This one’s made for absolute beginners Workshop Details Dates:
 Saturdays: 26th April & 3rd May | 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Sundays: 27th April & 4th May | 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM Duration: 2.5 hours Location: House of Iki Group Size: 5–6 participants per session Skill Level: No prior experience in pottery or art required Recommended Age: 15 years and above What You’ll Do • Begin with a serene walk around the farm to gather your own seasonal florals, leaves, and twigs for imprinting. • Learn the basics of hand-building and shaping clay using simple tools. • Make up to four handmade pieces—these could be cups, plates, trinket dishes, or platters—all uniquely textured with your foraged flora. • Personalise your creations by carving in your initials or any details you'd like. • Paint your pieces with underglaze colours for that final flourish. We’ll glaze and fire your work in our studio kilns. Four weeks later, you’ll be able to collect your finished, fully functional ceramic keepsakes—each one a memory pressed in clay. What’s Included • Unlimited clay usage at the studio • Use of hand-building and sculpting tools (tools are the property of the studio) • Underglaze colours to decorate your pieces • Glazing & firing for up to four finished pots • A refreshing non-alcoholic beverage (choose from tea, coffee, juice or sherbet) Note: • Additional pieces beyond the four included will be charged separately based on size. • All glazes used will be food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe. • The final glaze selection will be made by our studio team to best showcase your piece. • Finished wares will be ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after the workshop. We will notify you when they’re ready—please collect them within two weeks of that notice.
